Dog Walking Rates

The Tail Trail's Dog Walking service is an excellent way

to provide your dog with a daily dose of exercise!

1 or 2 Dogs in the same household

Visit Duration & Price:

Regularly Scheduled 30 minute Visit: $20

Regularly Scheduled 60 minute Visit: $30

Scheduled less than 48 hrs. in advance: $25 / $35

3 or more Dogs

An additional $10 charge will be applied to each dog in excess of 2, per visit.

'In-Your Home' Daycare / Extended Stay Rates

We introduced our In-Your-Home Daycare or Extended Stay Service to address the care requirements of higher energy breeds, puppies and senior dogs; as these dogs often need more than just a 30 or 60 minute visit.

We generally provide our 'In-Your-Home' Daycare service during the hours of 8:00am & 11:00am, and 3:00pm & 6:00pm. However, we are flexible with the timing.

The great thing about our 'In-Your-Home' Daycare / Extended Stay service is that it allows us to design, with you, a tailor-made care program for your dog(s). Walking may be included in the visit (2 dogs or less), along with other fun activities. Sessions typically run for either 2, 3 or 4 hours, though we're happy to extend sessions to better fit your and your pet's needs.

Another great thing about this service is that our pricing does not increase if you have more than 2 dogs. So, the rate charged for 2 dogs is the same as that for 3, 4 or even 5 dogs, in the same household.

'In-Your-Home' Dog &/or Cat

Pet Sitting Rates

The Tail Trail's 'In-Your-Home' Pet Sitting service is perfect when you are away on business, or even better ..... on vacation. Whether for a day, a weekend, or a week or more, The Tail Trail will visit your dog or cat each day, at pre-scheduled times, to care for your pet during your absence.

The frequency and duration of our Pet Sitting visits are entirely up to you. The goal when designing your pet sitting package is to create a schedule that parallels the daily routine you have with your pet.

So, for example, you can choose to have us visit your dog or dogs for an hour in the morning to feed and walk, 3 hours in the afternoon to walk, play and feed, and 30 minutes in the evening (typically between 9pm and 10pm) for a relief visit before bed.

Regularly Scheduled 1/2 Hour Visit: $20 *

Regularly Scheduled 1 Hour Visit: $30

Regularly Scheduled 2 Hour Visit: $45

Regularly Scheduled 3 Hour Visit: $55

Regularly Scheduled 4 Hour Visit: $65

* Only available to those with less than 3 dogs or less than 4 cats.

Scheduled less than 48 hrs. in advance: $10 surcharge applied to each visit conducted during the 1st day of the engagement.
